Bud Bar Wreck
Physical Data
and Notes

by Gasque & Gillings.
October 14, 2006

Dive Notes:

The wreck has bluebell tunicates, sponges, and some small coral growing on the ship. Bow and Stern spars are down and pieces of another wreck (Swordfish) appear to have broken up and wedged under the WSW part of the Bud Bar. There is a bow facing SE with starboard side higher than the port side, which is under the hull of the Bud Bar. Pieces of a hull are lying on the bow of the Bud Bar and a long sheet of metal is resting along the SW edge of the Bud Bar. Ship ribs and a diesel motor were seen in the sand SW of the Bud Bar hull. Tomtates, grunts, and some large barracuda dominated the fish population on the wreck.
