Dive Notes:
Very strong current made this a very difficult dive for the team. The southern bridgetender house (benchmark #1) now rests on its side with the bottom facing to the west. It has Caulerpa brachypus growing there. Mappers were barely able to swim to the barge/tug wreck. It appears in much its same configuration, but the cabin area on the tug has collapsed and is deteriorating. 5 goliath groupers were on this wreck. Mappers then tried for the northern bridgetender location, but the current was too strong and we ended up on the large barge to the north. Hull plates are gone or falling off and support beams are buckling-very dangerous for divers trying a swim through. See 3 more goliath groupers here.
