Dive Notes:
Team's first drop was at 10:15 AM, but strong north current took us north of the barge, so map team ascended with safety stop at 10:24 AM for a re-drop. On re-drop, we again were north of wreck, but saw it, and with great effort, swim south against current to get back to the barge. Better to drop on Amarylis and let current take us into wreck. With effort, reverse profile from first dive, we cut second dive short,--dive is only 15 minutes with extended safety stop. Barge still has 4-5 ft. of relief, has several 2-4 ft. diameter holes in the deck, allowing fish to swim through, and is covered with hydroids, encrusting sponges, and white condominium tunicates. Severe scour under south end bow that is hang out for 300# goliath grouper.
