Dive Notes:
Map team dives with the dive master to find wreck. Good drop as south current helps us come into wreck from north. Goliath Grouper are all around-we count at least 12. They are remnants of aggregation in the area around Zion Train. Wreck remains intact, on keel facing south-southeast, and is covered with red algae and Halimeda, along with hydroids and some encrusting corals. Some holes in roof of wheelhouse (at 65 ft) and a deteriorating crossbrace in the hold are only signs of rusty corrosion. Wreck is still providing almost 30 feet of relief in the water column. Huge school of tomtates on wreck and one 4-ft. barracuda. Very nice dive in minimal current.
