Dive Notes:
This was a tough dive in strong current to the south. There was lousy viz until about 40 ft where there was a slight thermocline and water temp dropped from 85 to 83'F. Viz cleared below 40 ft. The map team aborted first drop, we couldn't find the reef rock piles. On redrop, we dove to the dive master, but he was not on the reef either. Map team swam west, with current taking us south and missed the reef again. Map team was unsuccessful this day. Fish counters were fortunate to swim to the Genesis reef and some fish counters got to the southern marks on the corridors. Fish counters sketched layout of Genesis reef, which had been a goal of this dive for the mappers.
